GROUP RUNS

We ask that everyone please respect 6 feet of distance at all of our events, and wear a face covering before and after our group runs (while standing around for announcements, taking a route map from the group leader and when talking to other attendees). Please note: Clarke County has a mandatory mask ordinance as of July 7th (see https://www.wsbtv.com/…/ath…/3PLAHHHHNJBM5CKUQ6YU4V3DJE/)

All of our events will be held outdoors and provide ample space to spread out. Group run attendees may be asked to depart in waves if attendance is high.

Waiver: In consideration of attending Athens Road Runners events, I, the member, intending to be legally bound and hereby waive or release any and all right and claims for damages, illness, or injuries that I may have against Athens Road Runners Club, sponsors and their representatives and employees for any and all injuries to me or my personal property. This release includes all damages, illness, or injuries suffered by me before, during or after participating in the club. I recognize, intend and understand that this release is binding on my heirs, executors, administrators, or assignees. I certify as a material condition to my being permitted to attend the group runs that I am physically fit, having no symptoms of illness, and have not been in contact with anyone who has/may have COVID-19 within the last two weeks. By attending the group runs, I acknowledge (or a parent or adult guardian for all children under 18 years) having read and agreed to the above waiver.
